Maya King began her career in 1994 as a graduate of Pivot Point Cosmetology Research Center. As a stylist in Los Angeles, California, she has worked with such names as Cee Cee Michaela and Golden Brooks of *Girlfirends*, comedian Myra J. of *The Tom Joyner Morning Show*, and Elise Neal of *The Hugleys. *After migrating from Hollywood to Atlanta in 2005, Maya has made Tallahassee her home,specializing in hair of all types and textures. A hair care professional and former educator of Aveda Institute Tallahassee, Maya has acquired a"healthy hair first" philosophy, encouraging clients to find balance between high-fashion Hollywood trends and long-term hair wellness.
